At Designs by Taran, we are proud to be the only internet supplier of excellent English wine from Greyfriars Vineyards, tucked away in neighbouring Surrey. This small vineyard grows Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape varieties on the south-facing chalk slopes of the Hogs Back Ridge, which has the same soil and climate conditions of the popular Champagne region in France. Not many English wine growers can lay claim to such an advantage!
Greyfriars Vineyards white wines have excellent crispness, fruit and acidity, and yet are perfectly balanced. Their sparkling wine, which is vinified according to the traditional 'methode champenoise', is a truly amazing authentic English Bubbly.
