General Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction

By placing an order with Designs by Taran on the phone, via this website or
otherwise, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
We recommend that you keep a copy of these terms and conditions for reference.
We may change these terms and conditions at any time but changes will only
take effect for orders made on or after the date they are posted onto this
website.
2. Acceptance of your order
After you have submitted an order we may send you an e-mail or tell you on
the phone that we are accepting your order. A contract between you and us
will only be made then. If we are unable to accept your order, we will arrange
for a prompt refund of your payment.
3. Prices and Payment
All prices and charges on this website are in UK pounds. The total cost of
your order will be the price of the products plus any applicable delivery
charge.
Prices and products are subject to availability and may change before (but
not after) we accept your order.
PayPal who are secure and offer an encrypted system of payment hosts our
payment site. You have to authorise full payment when you submit your order.

5. Risks and Property
Risk of loss or damage to the products shall pass to you at the time of
their delivery to you. Ownership of the products shall pass to you only
on receipt by us of the price in full.
6. Gift Vouchers
Our gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Our gift
vouchers are only redeemable by us. You can redeem our gift vouchers by
sending them to us or by telling us by email or phone the voucher code
number (on the top right-hand side corner). Our gift vouchers are only
redeemable for our products of an equal or greater value than that of the
gift voucher. If you redeem a voucher against goods of greater value, you
must pay us the difference at the time of making your order. If you redeem
your gift voucher against products of a value less than the value of the
gift voucher we will not be obliged to make any refund to you of the
shortfall. Our gift vouchers are not transferable to cash. Our gift
vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any offer of a lower than
standard price.
7. Changes and Cancellations
We endeavour to ensure that information on this website is accurate but
occasionally errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price or
description of a product, we will tell you and ask you whether you wish to
continue or cancel your order. We may alternatively, at our discretion,
choose not to provide you with the product.
Also, you may for any reason change or cancel your order 2 working days
(excluding UK Public Holidays and Saturdays and Sundays) prior to your chosen
delivery.
By law, you can cancel the contract for a product at any time up to the
expiry of 7 such working days starting on the day after the day on which
you or the person nominated by you receives the product. However, this does
not apply to products, which are liable to deteriorate rapidly (e.g. fresh
cut flowers). You may cancel by emailing us at

8. Force Majeure and Liability
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay caused by any circumstance
beyond our reasonable control.
We do not exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by
negligence or to the extent not permitted by law.
Where the contract is a consumer transaction, as defined by the Consumer
Transactions (Restrictions on Statements) Order 1976, your statutory rights
shall not be affected by the contract.
9. Flowers Guarantee
All our fresh cut flowers are guaranteed to last at least 7 days. If flowers
are in bad or damaged condition, please contact us immediately by phone or
email. During winter months fresh cut flowers need extra care, so place
them in a cool room around 19°C. For further information on flowers care

10. Alcohol
By placing an alcohol order you are confirming that you and any recipient
are over the age of 18. We do not export alcohol outside the UK.
11. Third Parties
No third party shall have the benefit of the contract.
12. Law & Jurisdiction
This website and any contract between you and us are governed by the law of
England and Wales. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of
the courts of England and Wales.
